My Experience with IRIS

Your eyesight is one of your most important senses. Did you know, 80% of what we perceive comes through our sense of sight. As a content creator, it is important for me to protect my eyes so I can continue doing what I love to do, and what better way to take care of my eye sight then working with the professionals at IRIS, the leading network of optometrists, opticians and ophthalmologists in Canada!
You might not see me wearing glasses often in my pictures, but the truth is, I wear contact lenses on a daily basis, and I switch to eyeglasses whenever I am at home. I had the opportunity to have my very first eye exam as well as contact lens check-up with IRIS, and I have to say I learned so much about my eye health. I never knew that having an annual eye exam goes well beyond just making sure your vision isn't blurry - it can also detect other serious health problems.

My experience with IRIS was phenomenal, and of course, very easy. The entire process was smooth, from my initial eye exams down to picking my contact lenses and frames that fit my face shape. The knowledgable IRIS professionals on site were extremely patient, and they were able to answer all the questions I have. As a leader in the industry, IRIS has developed the iProfile application for iPads called The IRIS Profile: this allows IRIS professionals and team members to get to know me better, and suggest the best frames and lenses for me.

After completing my IRIS Profile, the team recommended a few options for me to improve my eye health. After that, I was able to pick the right frames and lenses, as well as contact lenses, suggested by my IRIS Profile. One thing IRIS stood out from other brands is that they really care about your vision and eye health: they recommended sun protection options for my lenses to enhance my visual comfort and ensure my eyes remain healthy while enjoying the outdoors, and of course I went ahead and chose that option!
I cannot wait to show you the frames I have chosen on my next blogpost!
