Hi everyone, long time no see! Some of you might have noticed that I have taken my website down after my last post in January. I decided to take a few months off to focus on a few things in my personal life, but now I am happy to announce that I am officially BACK! My first project after "coming out of retirement" was with New Balance. To be honest, I was a bit hesitant to accept this project with NB because I've never owned any pair of NB in my life. I never really liked the old school NB shoes because I see so many people wear them on the streets. After seeing the photos of the 574 Sport, I completely changed my mind. Let me tell you why!
I went to the NB store to get my shoes a week before the release date. After seeing the shoes for the first time, I have to say I was absolutely in love with these 574S! This new NB 574S was so light and comfortable, and they look nothing like the original NB shoes I had in my mind. The 574S is a contemporary take on the iconic silhouette for today's modern, style-conscious consumer. This pair features a sporty yet sleek silhouette with a re-envisioned sole unit that includes Fresh Foam cushioning and an Abzorb crash pad for a new level of comfort. The non-traditional tongue and bootie construction provides slip-on appeal for an on-the-go consumer.
It was a difficult decision to pick between the white or black, but I have decided to go for the white after all! I love pairing the 574S with my casual outfits, I find myself wearing less suits now :D (you can still wear the 574S with suits, FYI.)
