NYE Celebration | The Hazelton Hotel

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Hazelton Hotel during New Year's Eve. Megan and I have been looking for the perfect place to celebrate our first NYE together, and what's better than spending it at The Hazelton, Toronto's first true luxury boutique hotel in Toronto?
The Hazelton Hotel opened in 2007 in Yorkville, which brought international level of luxury to the city of Toronto. Designed by internationally renowned design firm Yabu Pushelberg, the hotel offers 77 luxurious rooms and suites. ONE Restaurant is celebrity Chef Mark McEwan’s signature dining experience that is not to be missed, while Valmont Spa at the Hazelton is Yorkville’s most exclusive refuge for Toronto locals and visitors alike.
For some of you who are not familiar with Yorkville - it is one of the hottest spots in Toronto. Only minutes away from Downtown Toronto, Yorkville is Toronto’s most celebrated neighbourhood of style and culture offering a unique blend of designer boutiques, fashionable restaurants, and world class galleries. Yorkville is also the home to Toronto Fashion Week, the largest fashion week held in Canada and the second largest fashion week in North America.
Overall, I had to say that our stay at The Hazelton Hotel was truly a world-class experience! Starting with the front desk team, who was so pleasant and welcoming that the trip alone to the front desk would have been worth it. The housekeeping at the Hazelton deserves a mention on its own, they are the true MVPs!!! Their attention to detail and genuine care to guests are absolutely everything, they work with so much class. Before we left for dinner, Megan had left her pile of jewelry bundled together in the corner of the bathroom counter. When we got back, they were delicately placed on a grey towel and so much more pleasing to the eyes (something mom would do). We were in dire need of a wellness break before the holidays and the Hazelton played the part. The bedding was literally a big comfy cloud, the bathroom design was breathtaking — all of it was way more than expectations could ever lead. We ordered in-room breakfast the next morning - and the food did not disappoint! We didn't want to leave - it was truly a memorable experience at the best hotel in Toronto.
We would definitely come again, and next time, we will be sure to try out the famous Valmont Spa at The Hazelton!
